Hotel WebsiteRegent Hong Kong
Hong Kong, China
The Regent Hong Kong is back! This iconic hotel on Kowloon’s harbourfront originally opened in 1980 and changed ownership (& name!) in 2001, becoming the Intercontinental Hong Kong, before closing its doors in 2020 to embark on a major renovation. The hotel reopened at the end of 2023 – once again proudly bearing its original name. The total transformation spans all 497 guestrooms and suites including bathrooms, all public areas, restaurants and event venues, as well as a refresh of the building façade with a contemporary new look. The flagship of the Regent brand, the hotel is ideal for meetings and events, with nearly 1,800 square metres of space, including a pillar-less ballroom which can seat 1,000 in theatre style or 720 for a banquet. For smaller events or for breakout rooms there are ten harbour-view rooms seating up to 70.

Bangkok, Thailand
The Dusit Thani Bangkok will re-open in 2024 following an estimated $1.37 billion renovation. The hotel will form part of a newly built structure, on the same site as the original property, called Dusit Central Park – a mixed-use development comprising of ultra-luxury residences and high-end retail and office space, overlooking Lumpini Park. The hotel will house 257 guest rooms, one of the largest ballrooms in Bangkok (seating up to 950 guests), and a myriad of dining and wellness offerings. The original building’s golden spire has been retained, and there will also be a small museum onsite in honor of the former hotel, which acted as an influential social and business meeting spot from 1970 to 2019.
