Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong
Hong Kong
Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong
In May 2024, the APAC team visited the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, the brand’s flagship and first hotel in the Mandarin Oriental portfolio. The property has 447 guest rooms and over 1000 square meters of flexible meeting space. Bedrooms are spacious with some having fabulous views over the iconic Victoria Harbour, and all offering well-equipped bathrooms and work desks. Meeting rooms are located on the 1st and 2nd floors; the hotel can work with outside venues, including Centricity, to add even more space and can provide outside catering at unique venues such as M+, Asia’s first global museum of contemporary visual culture. The hotel also offers a unique combination of different entertaining spaces, including Michelin-starred restaurants Man Wah (Cantonese) and Mandarin Grill, Japanese Izakaya, and one of Asia’s top bars – Aubrey – and intimate British-themed bar, The Chinnery. The hotel can curate bespoke activities for your groups, from walking tours of the old town to sound baths, along with other wellness elements, as part of your conference program. The excellent customer service was also apparent in the attention to detail and flexibility shown in accommodating some very complicated dietary requirements within our group. All in all, it is a great venue for executive-level guests who require high standards of service and could benefit from unique, quality dining venues in which to host dinners or private meetings.
