The Cooper Hotel

When it opens, The Cooper Hotel will be the first and only waterfront hotel in historic Charleston, South Carolina, and the first new luxury hotel built in Charleston in the past seven years. With 195 guest rooms overlooking the Charleston Harbor, the hotel will have 5 restaurants and over 15,000 square feet of meeting space, the largest being their 5,000 square foot ballroom. Situated just 5 blocks from Charleston Place, it’s very easy to enjoy both facilities, as all of the amenities at The Cooper will also be available to guests staying at Charleston Place and vice versa. The Cooper will also have a private marina, which will house 5 yachts that vary in size—the largest accommodating 120 guests for catered events on the Charleston Harbor.

SLS Playa Mujeres is the first all-inclusive Accor Hotel in North America. There are 498 total rooms with 18 distinctive premium food and beverage outlets. SLS Playa Mujeres has a private marina for excursions and boasts an onsite convention center, all located around thirty minutes from the airport. The Fairmont Southampton Bermuda renovation project is progressing steadily, with exciting developments on the horizon. After a longer-than-expected delay, work is now in full swing. In October 2024, 75 shipping containers of building materials and equipment arrived, marking the beginning of the next phase. In November 2024, the hotel was fully covered in scaffolding as the comprehensive renovations commenced.

Valued at over $550 million, this fully funded project involves key partners such as the Bermuda Government, Starwood Property Trust, and Clarien Bank. The renovation will completely transform the resort, including upgrades to guestrooms, public spaces, ballrooms, and restaurants, and a brand-new Beach Club facility featuring a pool.
