The Sax Paris, LXR Hotels & Resorts
The Sax Paris, officially opened on April 3rd, on Avenue de Saxe. It’s not just another Paris hotel; it’s Hilton’s first-ever LXR Hotels & Resorts property in France, and it’s bringing a whole new energy to the Left Bank. Tucked in the heart of the 7th arrondissement, Sax Paris is housed in a historic former telephone exchange, now elegantly reimagined into a trendy luxury hotel with 118 rooms. It’s striking Belle Époque façade and then inside the vibe is sleek, modern, and effortlessly Parisian. The hotel is all about thoughtful luxury: Just 2 km from the Eiffel Tower, you get those iconic views — especially from the rooftop terrace! They’ve created Le Jardin SAX, a peaceful internal courtyard with an outdoor plunge pool — something rare and special in the middle of Paris. On the ground floor, the SAX Paris Bar Restaurant. The Hotel’s General Manager Guillaume Bourniquel referenced it being “More than just a place to dine, but a place to live. It’s a vibrant social hub for locals, travelers, and neighborhood regulars alike.” All this and it is paired with a statement chandelier by Venetian designer Christian Pellizzari, crafted in Murano. Upstairs, Kinugawa Rive Gauche takes Japanese fine dining to new heights — literally. Spanning two floors and spilling onto a rooftop terrace with unobstructed Eiffel Tower views. Fluted woods, graphic mirrors, and bronze accents set the stage for standout dishes like miso-marinated Black Cod, salmon naruto with white truffle, and tuna tartar with caviar. The cocktail menu mirrors this refinement with Paris-meets-Japan twists — yuzu, shiso, and more.
Our Team's Take
What really stands out to us is how Sax Paris balances old and new: honoring the building’s heritage while layering in fresh, contemporary touches. It doesn’t feel stuffy — it feels alive, elegant, and very "now." And because it’s part of Hilton’s LXR Collection, you will get to experience that next-level bespoke service. I have a feeling The Sax Paris will quickly become one of the city's most talked-about new addresses — and I can’t wait to experience it firsthand once the doors officially open.

A standout feature is the preservation of the Palm Court’s stained-glass skylight, reconstructed by architect Francis Metzger. Along with the return of the Astoria Concerts after 50 years, hosted in Salon Elisabeth as part of the hotel’s cultural revival mission. A hidden secret is that Palm Court features live piano music every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday afternoon. This attracts not only hotels but also locals who wish to enjoy this historical space in style.
Our Team's Take
What struck us most at Corinthia Brussels is that this isn’t just another luxury property ticking the usual boxes — it’s a real statement. The revival of cultural programming like the Astoria Concerts is a big differentiator — it signals Corinthia’s desire to be part of the culture and not just a place to stay. The hotel is clearly built with both leisure and event travelers in mind — the ballroom and event spaces feel grand without being overwhelming, and the private dining options are ideal for exclusive group experiences. From a F&B perspective, the Michelin chefs and mixologist lineup is a power move. You can tell they’re not playing it safe — they’re here to make an impact, both locally and internationally. In short: Corinthia Brussels is back — not just restored, but reimagined — and we’re excited to watch it evolve.
